What makes Poppy’s stand out from other floral designers?
Our unparalleled quality of service, custom unique
design styles and attention to all details make
us special. We think from the client’s perspective.
We keep your budget in mind and try to make use
of our beautiful designs to the fullest extend
from ceremony to reception. To us, no single
event is alike; we would like to make each party
special by creating new ideas. Even at times
clients may like designs from past weddings, we
will add new elements and make it personal just
for the couple.
What is the design process like?
You may contact us to schedule a floral consultation. During
the consultation we will show you our portfolio
from past clients’ weddings. We will discuss
your event details as well as the overall feeling
you are trying to achieve. Our designer will
pour out all relevant design styles that may appeal
you. After establishing a design direction
that you like, we will be able to give you a budget
estimate at the end of the consultation. Upon
agreement of the proposal, we need 50% of the proposal
amount as a deposit to reserve your event date. You
may make changes after the initial proposal, as
long as the revised proposal amount does not go
below our service minimum. We will discuss
any final revisions to your proposal three weeks
prior to your event. We will need the final
balance at that time and no other changes shall
be made thereafter.
What is the extend of Poppy’s Petalworks’ service?
From bridal bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces,
arrangements to cake decoration, we offer our clients
an extensive list of services. We also offer
unique floral decoration items such as picture
frame decoration, car decoration, floral names
and custom built floral arch etc. We
also have runners, vases, tea lights and containers
for purchase and rental upon request.
Do you have a minimum charge?
We have a $1,500 service minimum for 2008 events,
excluding tax, setup and delivery charge.
Can you email me your price list or give me a quote via email?
We encourage clients to meet us in person. We
will show you portfolio of our latest events and
we want to gather more information about your special
day in order to provide you an accurate quote for
your flowers. We believe each event is unique
therefore we do not have a set price list. Nevertheless,
we may send clients a pricing guideline upon request. We
do not give price quotes via email without a floral
consultation.
How much should I budget for my wedding flowers?
We recommend 10 percent of the total wedding budget
go to flowers and decorations – from bridal party
flowers to the ceremony décor and the reception
centerpieces.
